Abstract
Rheumatic diseases, a group of musculoskeletal conditions affecting joints, tendons, ligaments, bones, and muscles, are prevalent worldwide. Despite extensive research, the causes and underlying mechanisms remain unclear, creating a significant knowledge gap regarding prevention and personalized treatment approaches. This study investigates the genetic, environmental, and lifestyle risk factors contributing to the development of these diseases. Using a cross-sectional analysis of medical records and surveys from 1,000 patients diagnosed with various rheumatic conditions, we identified key risk factors such as genetic predisposition, obesity, and exposure to pollutants. The findings highlight the complex interaction between genetics and environmental triggers. These results provide critical insights into targeting prevention strategies and optimizing therapeutic interventions for at-risk populations.
