A. author@gmail.com Akhmedova N. Sh. author@gmail.com
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive condition marked by the gradual loss of kidney function over time. Among the numerous complications that accompany CKD, anemia is one of the most prevalent and impactful. This condition arises primarily due to a deficiency in erythropoietin production by the damaged kidneys, compounded by iron deficiency and shortened red blood cell lifespan. Understanding the effects of anemia in CKD patients is crucial as it significantly affects their clinical status, mobile activity, and overall quality of life.
2024-11-08T00:00:00-07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://openconference.us/index.php/pedagogy/article/view/1977 The Prognostic Significance of Hepcidin, VEGF, Transferrin Receptor, and Cytokines in the Pathogenetic Diagnosis of Anemia in Patients with RA and CKD Together 2024-11-08T02:28:13-07:00 Naimova Sh. A. author@gmail.com Boltayev K. J. author@gmail.com
Anemia is a common complication in patients suffering from both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). The coexistence of these conditions compounds the complexity of anemia's pathogenesis, necessitating advanced diagnostic and prognostic approaches. Among the biomarkers gaining attention for their potential roles in understanding and managing anemia in these patients are hepcidin, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), transferrin receptor, and various cytokines. Anemia is a frequent complication in patients with both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). While traditional markers like hemoglobin and ferritin are used to diagnose anemia, they often fail to capture the complex pathophysiological mechanisms underlying this condition. Recent research has highlighted the role of specific biomarkers, including hepcidin, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), transferrin receptor (TfR), and inflammatory cytokines, in the development and progression of anemia in these patient populations. Hepcidin: A Key Regulator of Iron Homeostasis Hepcidin, a liver-derived peptide hormone, plays a crucial role in iron homeostasis by regulating iron absorption from the gut and iron release from stores. In inflammatory conditions like RA and CKD, elevated levels of inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), stimulate hepcidin production. Increased hepcidin levels lead to decreased iron absorption and release, contributing to iron deficiency anemia.
2024-11-08T00:00:00-07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://openconference.us/index.php/pedagogy/article/view/1978 Organizational Pedagogical Directions in the Management of the Education System in Higher Education Institutions 2024-11-08T02:32:12-07:00 Esanova Aziza author@gmail.com
Organizational pedagogical directions in the management of the education system in higher education institutions refer to the strategies, principles, and practices that guide the educational processes and the administration of learning environments in universities and colleges.
