The Role of English and Uzbek Stories of the 20th Century in World Culture

Abstract

This thesis discusses the importance and role of English and Uzbek storytelling in the English and Uzbek literature of the 20th century. World and Uzbek writers who contributed to the development of the story genre, Jack London, Washington Irving, Murad Mohammad Do`st, Khairiddin Sultan, are given samples and examples, and their incomparable place in the story genre and their contribution to the development of the story genre are analyzed through their works and scientifically substantiated.
