Abstract
In this commentary, the author offers a respectful and constructive response to Professor Monika Hakimi's engagement with critiques of her seminal work, "The Work of International Law." Published in The Harvard International Law Journal in August 2017, Hakimi's article has garnered significant attention in the field of international law. The author acknowledges Professor Hakimi's contributions to the discourse and highlights the value of scholarly dialogue in refining our understanding of the dynamic nature of international law.
